Immediate Hire- Direct Support Staff (DSP) Community Habilitation Specialist. $25 per hour Family of 26 year old man with autism seeks a compassionate young man with driver’s license to be his aide and assist him with tasks of daily living including helping him with his job at Sam’s Beverage Place in East Hampton. Candidates will drive the delivery van and help him pick, pack, bill, and deliver goods. Candidate will also assist him with working out at the Y (when, if it reopens), and his chores (including shopping and yard work). Successful candidates will be trained to become a direct support professional by his social services agency. Minimum need is 5 hours per day on at least 2 consecutive weekdays. Immediate Hire-- Direct Support person sought for teenage male with autism in Water Mill. Activities include outings to local beaches and trails, swimming, jogging and life skills support. Must have own car and background check is required. A person familiar with autism is a bonus but training provided for the right person. Starting pay is $18 per hour for 8 to 16 hours per week, with potential for more hours in the future. Schedule would include a Tuesday afternoon from 3:30 to 7, plus one shift on Sunday, with flexibility. A great opportunity for a full-time employment, with benefits.

Community Habilitation Specialist: Average hours: 20-30 per week. Hours dependent on Participant's schedule and needs.
Responsibilites to include: Providing support while participant is in the community and at home. Assisting in the home with meal preparation. Assisting participant in his/her daily living skills. Maintaining all safeguards. Some light paperwork.
Requirements for Position: Must be over 18 years of age. Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals a plus. Must have valid driver's license and car. Must pass background check.
Respite Support Staff Member: Hours dependent on participant's needs and those of his/her family.
Responsibilities: Spending time with participant in his/her home tending to basic needs. Designed for a participant's "down time" Ensuring the safety and well being of the participant.
Requirements for Position: Must be over 18 years of age. Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals a plus. Must have valid driver's license and car. Must pass background check.
Job Coach: Average hours: 20-30 per week. Hours dependent on Participant's scheule and needs.
Responsibilities include: Supporting participant while performing duties of his/her job. Assisting with employee relations and understanding job responsibility. Ensuring safe travel to and from work.

Job Develper: Average hour : 4 per week. Hours dependent on Participant's scheule needs.
Responsibilities include: Working with the participant and family to seek out and obtain an appropriate and comfortable Job that meets the persons needs. Limited and specialized skills may be necessary.
